Speaking of server wipes, the live server will also be wiped prior to the game’s full release. There’s currently no set schedule given for the reset so you can take your sweet time exploring every nook and cranny of the galaxy. The server will also be wiped and reset from time to time but players will be given a weeks’ notice before Novaquark flips the switch. The demo server will also offer unimpeded access to all of the live server’s contents but you’ll still have to put in the work and earn money to buy the items and resources you’ll need to explore and experience all of the available gameplay systems and mechanics. Items from the marketplace can also be purchased at cheaper prices to allow players to get their hands on them much faster. The demo server will be an exact copy of the live one but will have both progression and gameplay accelerated. The free demo will be permanently available from here on end but will be hosted on a separate server from the live game. If you want to try out the game before shelling out money for a subscription, there’s a free demo that’s now available for download on Steam. It’s all hands on deck over at a Novaquark as the studio prepares for the official launch of its early access space sandbox MMO, Dual Universe.
